Company Doctor - MD Internal Medicine

Job description / Role

Our client is a leading diversified group companies based in Qatar; they are seeking to recruit Company Doctor who has MD in Internal Medicine.

The group employs thousands of employees and active in various industries such as automotive, heavy equipment, general trading, oil & gas, fabrications, general services etc.

The company MD Doctor shall report to / work close to the HR General Manager of the group and will be responsible for the health and well fitness of the entire company staff.

Accordingly, the job holder will:
- Coordinate, supervise and evaluate medical service activities of subordinations with providing efficient procedures
- Coordinate and execute all medical service on accident or normal conditions, providing appropriate responses and recommendations is a key in order to prevent mal-occurrence and to maintain safe & health work environment
- Organize improvements of all medical service procedure in order to ensure efficient safe working environment.
- Coordinate and control adequate staff medical record
- Coordinate and execute all medical service activities under very close interface with relevant departments / people in order to ensure smooth and effectiveness of proper and adequate medical service
- Coordinate, control, monitor and record the accurate and detailed of routine medical care and service activities which include providing and distributing of supportive medical supplies as needed.
- Coordinate and control proper medical supply usage along with paramedic, and organize ordering an appropriate medicines and supplies
- Establish and maintain of medical equipment to ensure safe, clean and continuous operable conditions
- Establish and maintain high standards of housekeeping and provide continuous education / training on safety, environment and health issues to all subordinate / staff.
- Communicate effectively & swiftly all health issues with the management with an objective of improving the service and conducting the right and adequate needed action.

Requirements

- General practitioner / physician who is MD in Internal Medicine
- Has hands-on experience in Internal Medicine general practice
- Has professional license that issued by Qatari Supreme Council Health, State of Qatar
- Has at least 10 years of work experience, working as General Physician / Internal Medicine
- Age should be 45 years old at max
- Possess excellent communication skills verbal and written
- Possess excellent people skills, and ability to communicate with multi-cultural patients.
- Possess managerial skills and ability to manage staff
- Possess excellent knowledge about medical supplies and medicine
- Possess the ability to improve the health services on continuous basis
- Possess the ability to educate the team / staff on all issues related to health on continuous basis
