Responsible for the planning and coordination of all organization wide accreditation activities and the day-today management of the Corporate Regulatory, Accreditation & Compliance Services (RACS) team. Ensures that all Hamad Medical Corporation Facilities comply with HMC regulations as well as accreditation standards and requirements. Supports and improves the quality of health care through the delivery of a comprehensive accreditation program, including survey readiness, assessment, monitoring, and ongoing evaluation for compliance with accreditation and regulatory agency standards. Regulatory agencies include, but are not limited to: The Joint Commission International (JCI), and the National Committee for Quality improvement.

Responsible for the coordination and administration of accreditation survey activities by collaborating within and across individual facility's leadership to develop an effective JCI Accreditation infrastructure and other regulatory and accreditation agency standards.

Responsibilities
- Demonstrates knowledge and application of the HMC mission, vision and values.
- Manages day-to-day operation of the Program.
- Develops periodical reviews and updates HMCs Standards of Conduct documentation to ensure continuing currency and relevance in providing guidance to senior management and employees.
- Develops programs, policies, and practices that ensure that all departments are in compliance with JCI and other agencies standards.
- Expert Knowledge as Internal & External Surveyor.
- Coordinates and manages accreditation survey activities by collaborating within and across individual facility leadership to develop an effective JCI accreditation infrastructure.
- Manages the survey process to prepare the facilities and the survey team members for surveys.
- Conducts accreditation and certification surveys as appropriate.
- Provides ideas in a timely manner to effectively implement new standard processes and methodologies, assessment practices and facility - wide training.
- Maintains expert and current knowledge of JCI, and other agency standard requirements.
- Demonstrates expertise in knowledge and application of all accreditation program standards.
- Ensures availability of current references of regulatory agency and accreditation standards, and communicates changes to senior management.
- Cooperates fully in actual surveys for accreditation and regulatory agencies among all facilities.
- Assists in obtaining the facilities and clinics licensures by completing the appropriate documentation.
- Maintains consistency for the survey findings and provides written summaries as needed.
- Communicates deficiencies and accreditation concerns to the AED of RACS and CEO of the facility.
- Collaborates and consults with other accredited facilities regarding current accreditation issues and improvement activities.

Requirements

- Bachelor Degree in Clinical Health Care related field or in Management, or other related field.
- Masters in Healthcare related field or Masters in Management.
- Eight years management experience out of which three years in managing accreditation in a hospital setting.
- Computer Skills: Advanced.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of English and Arabic language.
