This position is responsible for the operation of an assigned site/ division / section / hospital of the Security Department in HMC in Qatar. It includes assisting the Director of Security in coordinating and supporting all activities of the department.

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates knowledge and application of the HMC mission, vision, and values.
- Systematically monitors the effectiveness of the assigned security operation adhering to corporate policies and procedures.
- In agreement with the Director of Security implement procedures as well as technical set up that maintain professional operational and safety standards in compliance with government laws and insurance regulations
- Responsible for planning, directing, supervising and maintaining cost analysis measures on security activities within the assigned operation / unit.
- Ensures effective coordination and cooperation within the security department and as well as other departments in HMC.
- Control outsourced services according to contract and evaluate the effectiveness of the services and report these evaluations to the Director of Security. Propose adjustments where necessary.
- Assist the Director of Security in preparing yearly the department manpower, equipment and expense budget and monitor the budget figures throughout the year accordingly
- Evaluate and justify supplies, equipment, and purchases as needed and report this evaluation to the Director of Security.
- Review and approve staff appraisals and performance ratings within the responsibilities
- Conducts on the job training
- Implements and direct training program for security team members and administrative staff members
- Ensures staff participates in training and development program schedules within the Department and HMC.
- Investigates and resolves incidents which occur within the departmental service / operation and makes appropriate reports to management.
- In the absence of the Director of Security attend regular Hospitality Meetings and participate in committees as assigned.
- Ensures compliance to safety, health, and security policies and standards at all times.
- If necessary will work in shifts to ensure a 24/7 service including weekends and holidays
- Ensures that HMC Health and safety standards are maintained at all times
- Performs other duties as requested.

Requirements

- 3 years Security/Public Health & Safety related Diploma or University Degree
- 5 years working experience in Security industry out of which 2 years at Management role.
