Human Resource Business Partner

Job description / Role

Our client, one of the leading global manufacturer and provider of products to the construction and mining industries, is looking for an experienced HR professional to join their team in Qatar in the capacity of Human Resource Business Partner.

The role includes several responsibilities including but not limited to,
- Define the future people related needs of the business
- Develop and implement HR policy and procedures in line with the company standards which ensures efficiency and effectiveness
- Act as a strategic business partner to the line managers and solve business problems through HR based solutions
- Define and manage the HR budget
- Train the team leaders and line managers
- Develop and implement compensation and benefits policies, procedures and pay plans which are equitable and in line with market
- Manage the payroll function and bonus payment

Requirements

- Minimum of a bachelors degree in a relevant subject
- A minimum of 6 years experience in human resource positions
- Must have experience and training in employment law, compensation, organisational planning, organisational development, and employee relations is preferred
- Knowledge and working experience in employment law, compensation, organisational planning etc.
- Above average standards of communication both verbal and written (native English speaker)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a HR department
- Excellent computer skills
- General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
- Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs
- Excellent organisational management skills
