Mechanical Inspector

Job description / Role

This is a site based role and the main functions will be to review and approve technical drawing submittals and coordinate with all engineering disciplines to deliver a world class project to KEOs exacting quality standards.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who are able to demonstrate experience in the following:
- An understanding of effective mechanical inspection processes, technical submittals and drawing review.
- Demonstrated experience on large scale Projects such as high-rise buildings, multi-purpose halls, villas, Hospitals, Healthcare and Medical Centres.
- Monitor the quality of materials and method used for installation at site are in accordance to the approved specifications, drawings and method of works.
- Attend the Daily Inspection Request in a timely manner and provide decision as per approved specifications, drawings and method of works.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Over 10 years Mechanical Engineering experience including site experience and construction supervision.
- Membership of a Professional Association would be advantageous.
- Good command of both written and spoken English is a pre-requisite for this role.
- Prior experience in the Gulf Region is preferred.
