Job description / Role
Pavement Specialist - Doha, Qatar
One of the leading construction consultancy firms have an urgent requirement to recruit Pavement Specialist to be based in Doha, Qatar. This role is responsible for managing the programme requirements for the supervision of design and construction works of pavements.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage all asphalt pavement works including implementation of procedures
- Ensure the appropriate materials are used for any pavement/asphalt works
- Manage any material testing procedures and provide advice when necessary
- Assist in the pavement design improvement implementations
- Liaise with contractors and provide advice when required
- Conduct presentations to clients when necessary
- Assist the team during audits and inspections
Requirements
- Minimum of 25 years of experience
- Strong knowledge of design and construction of large highways projects
- Degree qualification in a relevant engineering discipline
- Expertise in pavement material standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills
