Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Developing, reviewing and updating HR policies and procedures. Coordinating, planning and participating in all related policies and procedures development activities. Plans the activities associated with setting short term objectives for related policy development activities. Ensures policies and procedures are available and communicated to employees in all Departments of the Company.

The post holder works under the auspices of the Agreements & Market Survey Lead and the Head of Compensation and Policy. The post holder is required to exercise judgment within the context of establish Qatargas policies and guidelines.

The incumbent is required to operate according to specialized administrative standards and established procedures but with a large degree of autonomy in terms of independent planning and work prioritization. The incumbent therefore must be capable of deploying self-initiative and motivation. The Policy & Market Survey Lead is kept advised of work schedule/progress and reviews completed assignments.

Seeking solutions in a challenging environment which are innovative and specifically match Qatargas vision, adopting a flexible approach which meets the needs of individuals and is not constrained by a rigidly imposed framework. Uses influencing skills to gain agreement from management and develop an implementation plan.

Incumbent is required to show high level of initiative and flexibility in view of emerging trends and practices in the labor market and local and International labour laws.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or Law
- 6 to 8 years HR experience in the oil and gas sector with at least 3 to 5 years in policy development.
- Para legal work experience preferred.
- Excellent spoken English.
- An extremely high level of written English with the ability to write clear, concise and unambiguous policy documents.
- Excellent computer literacy involving the use of MS Office Application (Word, PowerPoint).
- Very good inter-personal skills with the ability to communicate to all levels.
