Job description / Role
The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of QSSA project which has a beginning, an end and specified deliverables.
- Create detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
- Develop a schedule for the project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities.
- Review the project schedule with the senior management.
- Contract qualified consultants to work on the project as appropriate.
- Execute the project according to the project plan.
- Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured.
- Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
- Review the quality of the work completed with the project team.
- Write reports on the project for the management.
- Monitor cash flow projections and report actual cash flow.
- Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Architecture.
- Training in Project Management
- At least 10 Years experience in managing construction of Plant
- Previous exposure to construction codes, standards and recommended practices including API, NFPA, OSHA, TEMA, ISA, ASME and ASTM.
- Knowledge of relevant Qatar legislation in relation to labor hire
