Quality Assurance Manager

Job description / Role

One of the most high profile projects & successful that’s underway currently in Doha – Qatar .They are currently looking to appoint a Quality Assurance Manager to lead all QA activities for the project . This Rail Project is a complex mix of both overground and underground track & stations . Working closely alongside the Project Director this role is key in managing , coordinating , leading and driving a team of people , stakeholders , sub contractors and engineers . The right person will have an ability to motivate , lead and create an important team atmosphere .

You will be able to demonstrate key success and experience on the following type of Projects : Crossrail / CTRL / MTR / Singapore LRT – You get the idea of the scale . The project is valued at over 16 Billion Qatari Rial (£350 Million +). Due to the scale of the project and the program the turnover of the job is larger than the majority of successful contracting companies or rail businesses in their own right . Therefore this person may be currently handling a Corporate Quality role and the idea of helping to deliver such an icon project may excite them . Or you may well be stepping off a £100 Million project but feel that the challenges , programs and key successes mean that you are able to step up to the plate of this complex role & project .

The project currently has another 5 Years til complete handover to operational capacity . The role will be based full time in Doha and will require someone to locate before April 2016 . You will be joining a global business that has operations & offices across the globe . Therefore they would see it that given the right geographical location whether that be Asia , Europe or the MENA market they would retain your services and help develop your career up the corporate ladder or staying on the Major Projects Division (£150 Million +)

Requirements

We need to recruit someone that has a key experience of:
- Power Supply
- Testing & Commissioning
- SCADA
- Tunnel Ventilation Communication & Control Systems
- Platform screen doors
- Signaling
