Our client, an established company involved with various different business streams, seeks to employ an FMCG Division Manager for their Doha office. The Division Manager is accountable for growth and the overall top line and P&L of the SBU.

Manages managers across multiple functional areas such as sales, marketing and supply chain to meet medium to long term objectives.The Division Manager Works in a moderately complex and unpredictable environment, drawing on available financial and marketing intelligence, and predefined long term vision, goals, and strategies.

This job has a major impact on the units P&L while moderate impact on the FMCG stream level, this Job also has a major impact on the top line sales of the unit.

Responsibilities:
- Oversees and supervises the suppliers marketing & spend,(DN recovery) a&p management
- Sets the market/ marketing spend guidelines agreed with principal and aligned with the SM/TME
- Support Sales Manager & Trade Marketing Manager in negotiation with bigger enterprises
- Address stock level, availability, visibility and expiry issues within prescribed guidelines in coordination with supply chain escalated to the principal
- Liaises with the logistics function on short/ medium & long term space management based on the business unit plans
- Accountable for ensuring the debt collection process followed by the team
- Interface with principal at their first and second line management levels for ongoing budgeting and strategic forecasting (long term)
- Build a strong relationship with principal
- Develop relationship with all customers
- Conduct Quarterly reviews with top 3 customers
- Provides direct supervision to direct reports including objective setting, performance management, and motivating, as well as, recruiting, training, coaching and developing
- Resources, Budgeting & implementation
- Provides insight tools for the SM
- Sets direction to SM on what standard analysis reports are required
- Analyzes data and makes decisions/ proposes recommendations to senior management for new agency evaluations and performance outlook
- Innovates with new ideas to drive organic growth
- Identifies opportunities for acquisition of New Businesses
- Develop and implement BBS
- Sets new strategies to grow unit profitably
- Creates & develops new business arms
- Innovates new processes for smoother work through process improvement
- Challenges the status quo
- Takes part in creating a culture of innovation
- Oversees sales, supply chain, Trade Marketing, finance working together to improve customer/ principal service and strives for optimum efficiencies
- Consults with the senior management team & closely works with principals to develop the medium to long term vision of the division
- Sets strategies and service levels and aligns support functions to meet customer requirements & needs
- Influences the stream strategy settings through understanding of market and indicators

Requirements

Holder of a Bachelors Degree; preferably an MBA holder.

A total of 8 years FMCG experience with 3 years expertise in sales and people management 3 yrs of Experience in direct P&L management.

At least 5 to 7 years background in a similar distributor FMCG business Corporate Governance and Risk Management Cost & Revenue Management Market and Customer Orientation Program and Project Management Production Management Supply Chain Management (SCM) Information Systems Management Building Operating Rhythm
