Senior Analyst - Indirect Spend Category Sourcing

Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Analytic support:
- Support the Indirect Spend category sourcing team through undertaking analysis and providing relevant and meaningful data to drive increased sourcing opportunities and potential savings
- Provide analytical support to the Indirect Spend category sourcing team to build category profiles and to conduct spend analysis, demand/usage analysis, TCO analysis, etc.
- Support the Indirect Spend category sourcing team in conducting supply market analysis; analysing market trends, evaluating supplier capabilities, assessing potential areas of risk and identifying new feasible suppliers
- Develop, maintain and update supplier profiles for top centre-led suppliers
- Provide administrative and operational support to Indirect Spend category team in category tendering as required, (including preparation of request for proposal documents, data requests to be sent to operating companies, tender evaluation analysis, supplier negotiation, etc.)
- Support the Indirect Spend sourcing team in the implementation of the Group Sourcing Contracts by collecting relevant data and undertaking required analysis to drive operating companies' compliance

Information management:
- Collect, store and maintain Indirect Spend category information (i.e., supplier profiles, RFP templates, etc.) on the central knowledge management platform
- Collect, store and maintain Indirect Spend category Group Sourcing Contracts and operating companies' local implementation agreements on the central knowledge management platform
- Collect, store and maintain operating companies' implementation dashboard (POs, tenders, etc.) with respect to Group-sourced Indirect Spend category

Requirements

- Minimum 8 years relevant sourcing or technical experience
- Experience of data analysis and cost modelling preferred
- Experience in MENA preferred
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
- Written/oral fluency in French/Arabic/Bahasa languages is preferred but not mandatory
- Minimum bachelor degree qualification, preferably should be in business/technology discipline

Skills
- Advanced relevant computer skills (MS Office, e-procurement systems, including Ariba and Emptoris)
- Basic category expertise relevant to telecommunications
- Advanced analytical thinking skills and adept at analysing and synthesising complex data to develop valid recommendations
- Basic communication skills with the ability to communicate coherently
