Our client is a very well established company in Bahrain, operating Since 1954. It has evolved into one of the Bahrain's premier business groups active in several business activities such real estate and trading.

Our client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Store Manager for their branch in Doha.

The store manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the shop in accordance with the overall company and brand policies, while ensuring efficient operations of all sales, operational and administrative functions.

Requirements

- Manages the sales team to deliver excellent customer service at all times seeking to exceed the customers expectations.
- Maximises sales through use of commercial reports and setting of individual KPIs for the store team.
- Responsible for planning efficient staffing of the shops as well as the various store sections, by proper scheduling and assignments to team.
- Manages sales team and works with a hands on approach to motivate and drive the performance of the team.
- Manages the team through training, motivation, coaching, development and performance appraisals.
- Ensures effective communication through daily team briefings, in-store notice board and regular feedback to the brand team.
- Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Delivers and maintains excellent VM and merchandising standards throughout the trading day through pre-opening inspection and regular inspection throughout the trading day.
- Plans store layout of fixtures, merchandise and displays, taking into account special and seasonal promotions/product lines as per the brand standards as well as store safety and security measures; inspects merchandise to ensure it is correctly priced and displayed.
- Minimize losses and maximize store profits through control of inventory records, store loss prevention controls and prevention of theft.
- Ensures compliance with all safety and security policies of the Company, including the physical security of the store and cash handling.
- Answers customer's complaints or inquiries, examines returned merchandise, and resolves customer's problems to restore and promote good public relations; makes decisions on adjustments, refunds, customer checks and customer service, etc., and where required in line with the companies Return and Exchange policy, confirm with Head office when required.
- Coordinates and supervises shop housekeeping, maintenance and repair.
- Ensures full compliance with all administrative procedures and reports in line with Company policy.
- Keeps abreast of developments in retail sales area through competitor analysis as well as published articles both internationally and locally.
