EPC Oil & Gas Subcontracts Manager is required by a leading provider of contracting services within the Qatar upstream and downstream market sectors. This Engineering, Fabrication, Construction and Installation services provider are a well-known and respected employer in the Qatar area managing successful service contracts with leading Operators both onshore & offshore Oil & Gas.

Subcontracts Manager will manage all subcontract matters on behalf of the EPC contractor during both pre and post award contracts. The role will require strong commercial skills in the management and implementation of Subcontract management strategies, policies and procedures throughout a group of companies.

The role will be part of the Commercial and Procurement department and will involve reporting into the group Commercial Manager.

Requirements

- The ability to negotiate Head Contracts terms into back to back terms for Subcontractors.
- Managing RISK with Subcontractors throughout Projects and commercial Agreements.
- A necessary requirement is that applicants possess excellent written English and English speaking skills.
- If you have approx. 10 -15 years in Contracts & Subcontracts Management and have worked for at least 5 + years within an EPC contractor.
- Contracts administration and management, Procurement and Supply-chain is preferred
- Middle East experience is also preferred.
