Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose: To assist in the day to day management of the Finance operation of the business

Principle Accountabilities:
- To carry out day to day Financial activities, relating to the production of Purchase Orders ensuring that the Policies and Procedure are adhered to
- To carry out all necessary activities to ensure that Accounts Payable is produced and paid in a timely manner in relation to Terms and Condition, Policies and Procedures, in relation to Supplier, Sub Contractors, Site Petty Cash and Personal Expenses
- Issue and reimburse Petty Cash
- Ensure that all monies (cheques, cash) transfers received are deposited in a timely manner and recorded accurately
- To create Lump Sum and Extra Invoices to the Client
- To prepare Account Receivable, debtors reports
- Carry out Bank Reconciliation
- Maintain and monitor Site Budgets
- Prepare Cash Flow forecast and projections as directed by the General Manager.
- Prepare Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly Financial Statements, Trial Balance, Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet.
- Prepare and maintain Journals and Provisions (Depreciation, Gratuity, Airfares)
- Communicate and clarify issues relation to both Internal and External Auditors
- Generate reports as and when requested
- To assist in the development and Implementation of new Finance Policies and Procedures

Requirements

- Three or more years of Accounting experience
- Graduate of a three year business program with a Major in Accounts preferred
- Strong computer application usage skills. Experience in Microsoft Office i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and internet.
- Knowledge of Tally ERP 9 system is a must; Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System knowledge is preferred
- Good level of interpersonal and communication skills.
