Business Analyst Coach (Telecom)

Job description / Role

Our client , a leading IT consulting company , is looking for a Coach for their team of 25 to 40 Business Analysts (BAs) based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for a one to two years contract (renewable).

The role would be based in Dubai, and requires the candidate to be on site 70% of the time.

What the BAs to be coached are supposed to do:
- Define business needs of technology solutions, by providing a cohesive, complete, Consistent, correct, feasible, modifiable, Unambiguous, testable & reusable business requirements.
- Make sure all technology investment will lead to achieving business needs by defining a proper business cases
- Define business process to be modified using BPMN and their relationship with eTom model
- Identify the impacts of changes in the business process on different departments and build the relevant communication material. When necessary build and execute change management plan including user manuals and training
- Review the High Level Design and understand whether the proposed system changes will meet the business requirement (needs). Explain to the Architects and Developers what issues exist with the proposed solution meeting the requirements
- Define data model and its relationship to the change being requested. Where is the data, who is the master, what are the domain values acceptable?

What the “Coach” is supposed to do:
- Help improving the Business Requirement quality, currently 2.7 out of 5, to 4 out of 5 in one year.
- Coaching the BAs on developing quality requirements
- Working with BA management on improving requirement process and reducing the gap between IT & business world.

Requirements

- IT experience at least 10 years in enterprise systems
- Working as BA for at least 5 years
- Coaching for at least 3 years
- Consultancy Relevant experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the eTom processes defined in the TMF
- Experience in BPMN and BA good practices
- Experience in Agile methodologies and the role of BA in Agile settings
- Knowledge of main telecom systems: BSS &OSS
