Business Development Manager Pumps

Our Client is a global water pumping manufacturer. They are a billion US Dollar Turnover Company and have offices in every major city globally. Their Dubai office are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead, drive and coordinate the sales, marketing for their existing sales pumping channels, both direct and indirect to increase and grow sales of their customized pumping solutions for the municipal water, wastewater clients.

As the Business Development Manager for Custom Pumps, you make recommendations and implement changes to the sales channel coverage as needed to meet the overall sales objectives. You will be supported by the corporate sales company, business unit application engineering and product management to generate winning competitive quotations.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in mechanical/chemical/electrical engineering or related technical field (or equivalent work experience);
- 7+ years of engineered technical sales experience working in the fields of wastewater, clean water, and / or industrial (pump, power) market segments;
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of Arabic and or French preferred, not essential;
- Excellent communication, leadership and decision making skills (essential)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks to budgets and schedules, in a fast-paced environment;
- Willingness to travel, at least 50% of your time will involve business travel
