Job description / Role
Salary: 18,000 to 20,000 AED
One of our clients, a leading Training and Consultancy Company with offices spanning Jordan, UAE and Saudi Arabia is expanding their rapidly growing business across the region. They are a trusted advisor for many leading businesses, governments, and institutions helping leaders make distinctive, lasting, and substantial improvements to the performance of their organizations through their trainings and consultations.
With this there is now an opportunity for a highly professional and results driven Business Development Manager to join their team in Dubai. Reporting to the General Manager, this role requires the person to be a strong decision maker with excellent planning, research and negotiation to lead and motivate a team of 4 Sales Executives to strategically approach the market and gain new business in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
- Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network
- Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Participate in pricing the solution/service
- Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
- Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
- Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by the team.
- Work with marketing staff to ensure that prerequisites (like prequalification or getting on a vendor list) are fulfilled within a timely manner.
- Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration and sales
- Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
- Ability to manage a team
Requirements
- 5 -7 years' sales experience in training field in Oman-Muscat specifically
- Arabic speaking candidates
- Fluent in English
- MBA holders are preferable
- Ms. Office windows
- Should have a valid UAE driving license
