Job description / Role

Main Purpose of Job: To provide layouts, general arrangements and detailed technical drawings on AutoCAD in accordance with quality assurance standards and clients project specifications
Principal Tasks:
1. Design and deliver detailed System Architecture,General Arrangement Drawings; Wiring Drawings for DCS/PLC/RTU/SCADA based control systems using Auto CAD (Computer Aided Design).
2. Develop detailed designs of subsystems and components, including but not limited to Single line drawings, control Schematics, Termination drawings, P & I drawings etc. to be developed using Auto CAD
3. Should be able to review designs and technical specifications and generate Bill of Material (BOM)and drawings as per the project requirements and as a part of material submittal for approval and later for procurement.
4. Create detailed CAD drawings for panel production and onsite work
5. Prepare As-built drawings & final documents.
Requirements
a. 4 - 5 years CAD experience in the Industrial Automation and Control System Industry.
b. Good communication skills
c. Willing and able to take the initiative and solve panel manufacturing problems
d. Electrical Diploma Holder or having completed Electrical Draughtsman’s course.
e. Well versed in electrical switchgear, motor control centres, Control panels etc.
f. Familiar with the symbols & blocks used in electrical & automation drawings.
