Channel Manager - Jordan

A large MNC electronic and IT consumer products company in Dubai is looking for a channel account manager

Candidates must speak Arabic
- Manage effective marketing activities to enhance brand image and by enhancing the Account wise Sales in the particular channel for B2B & B2C product catgeories.
- Analyze current Channel and Account situation and make short/Mid-term Channel and Account strategy
- Analysing growth trends
- Analyse market situations in Channel and Accounts, product (competitors, products, pricing, and promotions) and use the analysis as the basis to formulate local Channel / account strategy with the Consumer Imaging Manager.
- Make basic plans for the Individual Accounts in the Channel through Account Strategy for the all Product Groups
- Plan and design Channel and Account wise Marketing Activity calendar in discussion with the Accounts in the Channel, Contact person in liasion with the distributor,
- Prepare and present the Channel and Account Plan internally and externally to firm up the activities for the year, in line with Turnover and budget guidelines, to stimulate brand awareness and sales achievement.
- Liaise with Area Manager, Product Manager and Marketing communications Specialists to draw up action plans for timely and effective implementation.
- Take appropriate remedial action to support CME Area Sales.
- Collect and analyze individual Account local sales,
- Negotiate with Accounts based on the proper market information and competitors information to maximise activities
- Based on Yearly Marketing Activity calendar and seasonal promotions, plan and propose promotional offers and campaigns at individual Accounts in cooperation with Product Managers and Area Manager.
- Regular shop floor trainings for salesmen, Merchandisers, promoters, dealer salesmen.
- Ensure Marketing receives timely and accurate product information, prices, product training, marketing information and support.
- Plan, manage and co-ordinate the execution of projects assigned by the Line Manager, within company policy, in order to meet the agreed quality standards, time planning and budgets

Requirements

- Relevant recognized formal qualifications (university level) - desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar international or regional sales role with a electronics business IT support company , national distributor very desirable
- Background and knowledge of market environments desirable.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic - essential.
- High level of written and spoken communications essential.
- Professional appearance, attitude and communication style essential.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint - essential
- Excellent communication skills and requisite diplomatic/negotiation skills.
- Ability to communicate and relate to subjects, issues and clients at many levels.
- High level of presentation skills for internal and external customers.
- Excellent Market knowledge and willingness to be Closer to Market.
- Valid UAE / GCC driving licence.
- Overseas travel and periods away from home
