Consulting Sales Engineer - International Plastic Piping Manufacturer. 15,000 + package

Our client who is a world leading manufacturer of plastic piping and fittings has a new opening for Sales Consultant.

Summary of Role/Responsibilities
- Provide support to Senior Consulting Sales Engineer by the combined technical knowledge and selling skills for promoting products in the market thus aiding sales revenue generation.
- Provide support in following up on project leads received from different sources and analysis our product capabilities in meeting the project requirements.
- Submits product specifications to consultants and contractors for inclusion into ongoing and future project specification data.
- Provides technical support on new product specifications to consultants and contractors while emphasising on how the product would suit the project requirements.
- Participates in meetings along with the Sales team and customers / consultants / contractors as the technical specialist to provide clarifications on technical queries.
- Coordinates with pre-qualification team by providing technical specifications of products to be sent along with the submittals.
- Supports marketing activities by participating in trade shows, exhibitions to resolve customers’ technical queries.
- Provides technical inputs during the development phase of new products.
- Provides technical inputs for printing of brochures and other advertising material if needed.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Civil Engineering with minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in a relevant industry with in-depth knowledge of piping products.
- Minimum of two years in specification management experience and technical support
- Previous experience to new products launches, working with consultants and contractors.
- Ability to read and interpret the designs and drawings, provided by the consultant and contractor.
- Must have proven oral and written fluency in English language and knowledge of Arabic would be an added advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office.

15,000 + package.

Package provided includes entitlement of airfare ticket and medical insurance for dependents (wife/husband plus 2 children below 18 years) + Bonus incentive which is up to 3 months basic salary every quarter if staff exceeded the target.
