Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a multinational luxury retail company. Our client is looking to hire an Arabic speaking Corporate Treasurer.
You will maintain the financial standing of the organisation and ensure there is cash and liquidity to meet obligations and accounting principles. You will manage daily cash balances, bank reconciliations and closing, pooling and petty cash accounts. You will also undertake daily monitoring of E-banking as well as liaise with bankers and counterparts to maintain positive working relationships. In addition, you will forecast cash payments and preempt challenges arising from limited cash flow.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have at least 2 years experience in a treasury role. You should also have excellent negotiation skills in order to agree terms with company bankers. You will be in contact with all departments across the business and should therefore possess strong interpersonal communication skills and be a team player. It is essential you are a fluent Arabic speaker. Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
