Customer Insight Analyst

Reporting To: Department Manager - CRM

Reporting to the Department Manager - CRM, the Customer Insight Analyst will design, develop, and field analyses that have direct and measurable impact to the management of the online and offline luxury brands under control of Chalhoub Group Retail. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with wide range of technical skills, and is highly proficient in turning data discoveries into analytical and profiling insights.

This is a hands-on role involving a mix of exploratory data analysis and predictive model development aimed at linking business actions and metrics, market conditions, and consumer behaviours to key marketing and outcomes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis and work on special projects that will allow Chalhoub Group to maximize profitability, improve retention, drive customer loyalty and optimize marketing campaign strategies.
- Analyze relevant data and generate dashboards and presentations that provide actionable insights and identify growth opportunities.
- Execute and analyze customer marketing initiatives, communication campaigns and promotional strategies
- Data Mining analyses including, but not limited to, Applied Regression techniques, customer profiling and segmentation, purchase cycle and churn analysis and cross-shop and category-affinity analysis.
- Weekly/monthly reporting – including but not limited to, campaign measurement and customer segmentation analysis

Requirements

- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing or a quantitative field like Economics, Mathematics or Statistics
- You are a seasoned analytics professional with 5+ years of experience and the ability to drive analytical projects from inception to completion
- You are an expert in analyzing customer lifecycle, brand, product and channel loyalty and overall customer dynamics across a very complex, brand, product and seasonality landscape
- You have strong working knowledge of database structures and data warehousing principles and have solid experience in SQL with the ability to ETL both structured and unstructured data from various sources; experience with SAP CRM, SAP BW and SAP Business Intelligence is highly preferred
- You are proficient in use of command-line statistical analysis software (e.g. SAS, SPSS)
- You have good working knowledge of Applied Regression techniques - Multilinear, Logistic (both Binary and Categorical), Distributed Lags, Time Series, Generalized Linear models, Principal component regression
- You have experience in luxury, retail and digital
- Be a self-starter, driven and accountable
- Excel at collaborating and solving problems in a cross-functional team environment
- Have strong writing, data visualization and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner to senior executives
