Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

AED20,000 Per Month

On behalf of our client an international Western managed company that is based at DAFZA we are looking to recruit a European HR and Payroll Assistant.
- Reporting to the HR Manager you will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational HR support and guidance to Maintenance line managers and staff.
- Conduct HR induction for all new Maintenance employees including presenting the company way and issuing new staff with the New Employee Handbook.
- Act as the first point of contact for managers and employees in the interpretation of HR Policies and the UAE Labour Law.
- Implement and periodically update (as required) the regional HR Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure that the New Employee Handbook is kept up to date and relevant.
- Prepare all letters and correspondence related to employees, including contract of employment, change in terms, increase letters, warnings, termination letters etc.
- When required, guide and assist Line Managers in the appropriate handling of performance-related issues including disciplinary hearings and grievances.
- Coordinate with Company PROs to ensure that all staff visas are renewed timely.
- Liaise with relevant external parties for the processing of medical cards and life insurance for all staff, as well as company credit cards for approved positions.
- Liaise with relevant internal parties for the issuance of employee access cards, email ID’s and relocation assistance where relevant.

Requirements

The successful candidate must be a resident of the UAE, have a minimum of 5 years experience in HR and essentially have a degree or diploma in a HR related discipline.

Candidates who can commence work immediately are preferred for this role.
