Job description / Role
Providing the Regional Manager APME and Manager GCC with versatile support across all finance and administrative areas, you will be ensuring that financial infrastructure and administrative resources are managed effectively. You will also be responsible for the financial and general administration of the Dubai office.
Administrative responsibilities cover all functions of the Dubai office, including arranging meetings, maintaining files, advising staff on admin matters, assisting visitors and handling travel/accommodation. You will have a proven track record in administration and bookkeeping, with an understanding of double entry bookkeeping, Trial balance, global foreign currency rates and UK VAT.
Requirements
Holding a relevant accountancy qualification or having the equivalent experience is desirable.
In particular, you will have a strong grasp of general procedures and legislation in the UAE and other GCC regions, with knowledge of the UAE’s social security system and local employment law.
Skilled at analysis, reporting, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining high levels of tact and discretion, you have experience of contracts with external suppliers, plus a good knowledge of accounting programmes and general Microsoft packages.
It is also essential that you are fluent in written and spoken English.
