Job description / Role
Our client, a leading organisation in the UAE, is currently looking for a Financial Controller for their growing operations in Dubai.
As a Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.
Requirements
In order to be qualified for this role, ideal candidate must have CPA or minimum degree in Accounting/ Finance/ ACCA qualifications, with at least 3 – 5 years of experience in financial and management accounting and with excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact with all levels. Relevant experience in audit and costing is an added advantage and candidate having good working knowledge in SAGE will be given preference.
