Head of Finance, Planning and Analysis

Job description / Role

Monthly close process and audit finalisation:
- Drive the monthly close process and ensure HFM reporting completed on time.
- Complete all Group reporting requirements relating to the close.
- Liaise with the auditors for audit finalisation.
- Consolidate the group accounts on a monthly basis

Planning, Forecasting and Performance Analysis:
- Manage and coordinate annual planning process.
- Cash flow forecasting.
- Ad hoc reporting as required.
- Conducting detailed analysis of monthly business results and preparation of monthly reporting packs for individual countries and the overall Group.
- Reporting key performance indicators and provide support to management in explaining variances.

Cost Analysis and Pricing Support, in particular but not limited to:
- Analysing and reviewing capital expenditure requests.
- Providing analytical support to other departments as needed for expenditure requirements.

Revenue forecasting and analysis:
- Maintaining the plan /forecast analysis model and linking this in with the BD Department.
- Reviewing plan and forecasts with key stakeholders and providing appropriate challenge to assumptions in order to derive a realistic plan / forecast.

Requirements

- Qualified Accountant with 5+ years of post-qualification experience. (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, CA only)
- A minimum of 3 years of FP&A experience in a large corporate environment.
- Strong IT skills, Advanced Excel modelling, Oracle ERP, HFM.
- Implementing accounting procedures, reporting systems, budgetary controls and monitoring the same.
- Strong communicational and interpersonal skills.
- The employee shall, upon the instructions of the Company, be willing to travel to any other operational location as required.
- Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve complex financial issues.
- Must have strong presentation skills,
- Must be fluent in English. Arabic is a strong preference.
