Head of Human Resource

Job description / Role

Head of Human Resource is required for a Multinational Beverages Company based in Dubai, UAE.

With significant organic and acquisition based growth in recent years, a Head of Human Resource is now required to provide HR leadership across the domain and to support the activities and further development of businesses.

Main Responsibilities
- Develop the HR strategy and objectives to support businesses in Dubai and provide advice on people, culture and management leading to stronger operational performance.
- Design and deliver programmes for talent management, succession planning, retention, remuneration and training for graduates, apprentices and staff across the region.
- Active management of all people, supporting the business in improving performance and profitability and mitigating risk relating to people issues.
- Develop leadership in employee relations using a balanced and principle-based approach and provide HR advice and guidance on all areas including legislation and compliance.
- Work with businesses on improving internal and external recruitment policies and take a lead in senior level appointments.
- Cultivate a high performance and highly rewarding culture.

Requirements

- Experience from Food & Beverage Industry is Mandatory.
- Broad generalist experience within an HR function operating at an advisory level and beyond.
- Experience of developing and drafting HR policy in line with UAE labour legislation.
- Experience in handling Managers and employees through performance and employee relations issues.
- Have a strong working knowledge of UAE labour laws.
- Hold a nationally recognized HR certification.
