Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

As HR Administrator, you will be responsible for extensive digital and manual filing. You will format letters, prepare NOCs and deal with all outstanding administration, working substantially with Microsoft Office. You will be responsible for a large workload supporting a number of business areas within an extremely active HR Department.

Requirements

Assists the payroll function by performing entry level payroll processes through the completion of data entry of time sheet information, filing and maintaining both hard and electronic copies of time sheets. Assists with the generation and entry of new hire and termination transactions as required. Has responsibility for payroll transactions during HR Coordinators absence.

Greets and directs visitors and employees, answers and screens phone calls. Administers the HR Helpdesk and all other HR corresponding documentation. Proactively provides solutions to general queries and information requests. Troubleshoots on information requests to ensure a professional and prompt response to employee queries/problems or issues.

Monitors the HR Hotline phone and emails and responds to or forwards questions as appropriate. Follows up to ensure all queries are responded to in a timely manner.

Prepares correspondence and reports as directed. Provides routine administration support such as responding to phone calls, general word processing preparation of correspondence (generation of letters e.g. bank letters), sorts mail for distribution and ad hoc reports (e.g. absence or working time reports) as well as any other administrative duties required during the day to day operations of HR.

Prepares benefits packets for all new hires, schedule and conducts benefits meetings. Ensures all new hires and position changes requiring benefits meetings are scheduled. Processes new hire and termination paperwork and follows up with meetings as appropriate.

Maintains all HR documentation changes/amendments and updates. Advise employees as appropriate in order to resolve queries on same.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
