HR Manager - MENAP

Our client is looking for an accomplished HR Manager for the MENAP region to drive the HR agenda in a standalone position. Ideal candidates should be able to generate, create and implement HR initiatives. This requires a true partner who can really work with the business and take those understandings to shape the people agenda so that it has relevance and supports business priorities.

Salary 30,000 AED

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate as a key Business Partner to ensure that the organization structure is developed to achieve continued commercial success
- Anticipate, develop, design and implement the HR strategic focus and initiatives across all core HR pillars, including recruitment, development and retention of key talent; motivating a high performance culture; ongoing development of leadership capability and coaching culture, and ensuring there is a robust infrastructure for compensation and benefits, policies and procedures, and general HR administration.

Responsibilities:
- As a business partner, provide overall support for organisation and people issues
- Lead annual HR processes including performance reviews, compensation planning, talent assessment, objective setting, etc. in conjunction with HR Corporate guidelines.
- Tracking and reporting of employment changes related to payroll
- Coordinate organisational changes according to business needs by taking into consideration relocation, job development opportunities, terminations, headcount and organisational objectives.
- Develop, maintain and implement HR policies, procedures and programmes to meet the needs of the organisation and ensure legislative and company compliance.
- Maintain an awareness of regional HR issues, trends and strategies within and beyond the industry and where appropriate work with corporate headquarters to initiate changes to company practice as required.
- Facilitate development committees and other processes to ensure that all recruitment, selection and succession planning activities are robust, fair and equitable and support business needs. Manage the recruitment and selection processes, supporting hiring managers.
- Identify training and development opportunities to meet the development needs to the business, develop and/or implement programmes to address needs.
- Support disciplinary and grievance issues where necessary.
- Ensure appropriate processes and practices are in place for the management of personnel information and documentation and that this is handled in accordance with legislative and corporate guidelines
- Lead the development and implementation of proactive employee communications and engagement initiatives and activities
- Drive the MENA employee engagement survey cascade and action planning, taking a lead role in its delivery and focus on an ongoing basis
- Provide the interface to the central UK HR team acting as the voice of the market from an HR perspective.
- Responsible for maintenance of all personnel records and reporting
- Management and administration of visa registration and other legally required processes
- Management of trade license, authorized signatories and office lease renewals/applications with relevant UAE Authorities
- Coordination with outside legal and regulatory advisors

Requirements

- Degree or Professional Qualification in HR or related discipline preferred
- Ability to conduct business in English both written and verbal
- Broad HR experience covering the following areas: performance management, reward and recognition, recruitment, training and development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, employee engagement and change management.
- Subject matter expert for UAE employment legislation and requirements.
- Well developed Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Strong leadership skills and experience in customer focused environment, reporting and working directly with top management.
- Strong practical awareness of regional cultures
- Proven ability to work with a geographically dispersed multi-cultural team.
