Job description / Role
The candidate needs to be experienced in developing, driving & managing resourcing strategies within a retail environment, ideally fashion. You must be able to fully manage end to end recruitment in regards to gathering role requirements, initiating sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates, selection and offer management, as well as on-boarding new starters.
You will need to advise line managers in regards to accessible skills, review job descriptions and offer insight into market trends.
Retention is also key for the Clients business and you will be expected to map out key retention strategies to manage turnover and retain the best talent, ensuring these strategies are aligned with performance management data.
While this role is 60% recruitment & retention a strong HR background including performance management, employee induction and orientation, appraisals, salary reviews, HR services are also very key.
You will need to work under your own steam and be capable of designing and implementing a range of initiatives that will help the business to achieve.
Requirements
Minimum of 6 years experience in HR, strong recruitment management experience ideally managing a function dealing with high demands, this role is not for a trainee. Regional experience is key (at least 2 years experience in the UAE in a senior HR role). Arabic is a plus but not essential
