Job description / Role
We are hiring for an international law firm in Dubai for Human Resources and Attorney Development Generalist.
The Human Resources and Attorney Development Generalist is responsible for providing a variety of human resources and attorney recruitment and development services including but not limited to, coordinating activities and processes for all attorney recruiting, hiring, secondments and interoffice transfers and coordinating attorney, staff and paralegal onboarding and exit procedures. He or she is also responsible for supporting and working in concert with the Office Administrator and Senior Human Resources Manager – UK and Middle East with regards to the successful implementation and execution of all global HR programs, including providing advice and guidance on the firm’s human resources policies and procedures as well as performing day to day human resources operational activities related to working practices, recruitment, reward, development and employee relations.
The successful Human Resources and Attorney Development Generalist has well developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm. He or she has the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion, strong analytical skills with minimal supervision needed. He or she has strong attention to detail and quality assurance processes. HRIS experience, preferably PeopleSoft, is a plus. The Generalist has knowledge of Human Resources functions and of compensation and benefits practices.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required. Focus in related field preferred. Six (6) years related experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Three (3) to Five (5) years human resources experience desired. Two (2) to three (3) years professional recruiting experience desired. Experience in an international law firm is required.
We will also consider candidates willing to relocate in Dubai.
