Job description / Role
- Participates in the development of an Audit Plan designed to ensure the integrity of the Company’s operations and adherence to applicable laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Recommends areas to be audited and recommends any changes in content or timing.
- Promotes the development of the audit staff by providing guidance and training.
- Creates, conducts and evaluates audit programs in order to achieve the plan
- Assigns audit personnel to particular audits as required.
- Reviews audit workpapers and help chart the course of any additional work.
- Writes/Review audit reports and memos for correctness of content prior to issuance.
- Evaluates staff at the completion of an audit and for performance management.
- Coordinates with external auditors to minimize duplication of effort and related fee
Requirements
- Five years Internal Auditing or accounting experience in the hotel industry
- CIA or CPA
- Major in accounting or related area such as finance
- Excellent with people management
- Fast paced worker
- Able to interact with all levels and departments
