Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client, an innovative provider of design, engineering and construction solutions for a wide range of products for the Oil and Gas market is currently recruiting for a International Service Engineer. You will be reporting directly to the Lead Service Engineer.

Purpose and Scope: Responsible for the servicing and maintenance of HVAC, electrical and electronic systems installed with the companys range of products, travel to customers premises both on and offshore in various global locations to maintain service and repair equipment manufactured.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Acknowledge and action customer support and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction
- Travel to global (often remote/offshore) locations as required by the Company and Companys customers and provide remote (office based) technical support to clients across all global locations.
- Liaise with sub-contractors and agencies to facilities the upgrade and refurbishment of companys hire and client owned products
- Input and maintain maintenance database for status tracking
- Install repair and service HVAC, electrical and electronic equipment inclusive of pressurization, Fire and Gas monitoring and telecommunications systems equipment inspection and maintenance of Ex (ATEX) equipment in accordance with the latest industry standards.
- Compile detailed technical reports which are to be issued to the customer following a site visit, follow up with customers following service, maintenance or repair works to ensure satisfaction

General
- Recommend improvements to departmental policy and implement procedures and controls covering all areas of Operations function, so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivery quality, cost effective service to customers.
- Ensure compliance to all relevant QHSE procedures and controls across Operations function to guarantee employee safety, health, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and responsible environmental attitude.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Benefits:
- Basic Monthly Salary of 15000 - 18000 UAE Dirhams + Yearly Vacation + Medical Insurance

Requirements

- Academic Qualification
- Apprenticeship/Diploma in Electrical or HVAC Engineering
- Professional Qualification
- COMPEX certification for personnel working in Hazardous Area

Experience
- Minimum 5 years industry experience in a similar capacity
- Technical Requirements
- Must be computer literate

Travel
- Frequent overseas travel
- Western candidates only
