Landscape Architect

Job description / Role

- Ability to mentor and motivate project teams
- Ability to realize project requirements and deliver in accordance with company/client requirements and guidelines
- Ability to project plan and manage multiple tasks within a dynamic work environment
- Ability to oversee and manage all facets of design from Concept through to Detail Design documentation
- Strong oral, written and graphic communication skills
- Ability to develop landscape proposals and design details.
- Identify and prepare appropriate project solutions and options.
- Prepare project proposals, reports and presentations for client approval.
- Produce landscape drawings including hardscape, planting, grading, setting out and other associated plans.
- Provide support to ensure smooth execution of projects
- Gather data or research as required
- Perform duties in accordance with companys highest quality expectations, health and safety policies and procedures.
- Perform any other essential duties that his/her immediate superior may assign from time to time.

Requirements

- Landscape architecture or landscape design at minimum four (4) year Bachelor degree level only. Urban design/planning/architecture degrees only considered on extent of landscape involvement, experience and proven ability.
- Working towards professional licence from recognised national or international landscape body is desirable.
- Minimum five (5) years of applicable landscape experience in a professional setting including preferably two (2) year experience in comparable position in GCC/MENA area
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, MS Office and overall strong computer proficiency.
- Experience in public sector projects is preferable
- Fluent and accurate in written and spoken English
- Ability to represent the company in meetings with client representatives and in accordance with company values.
- Portfolio of built work which demonstrates technical capabilities and showing excellent design, visualization, and graphic skills.
- Good hand drawing skills also beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Enthusiasm to contribute/participate as a landscape team member
