Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client is a government Oil & Gas entity with a significant presence in the region. They currently seek an M&A Integration Manager to lead the integration and optimization of M&A opportunities for the group.

The responsibilities of the role would be as follows:

Leading the M&A Group's Integration Effort:
- Oversee and work closely with multi-functional integration teams for 3-6 months on each transaction
- Develop and communicate integration project architecture
- Act as project manager for multi-functional integration team
- Provide specific integration related communications
- Facilitate transfer to ensure business continuity, including problem-solving with team members on complex integration issues
- Construct the groups Integration Playbook
- Manage, track and report the progress of functional integration and cultural change

Leading the M&A Groups Synergy and Value Creation Effort:
- Examine and confirm value creation target through bottom-up 2-4 week diagnostic
- Make recommendation for initiatives and implementation plan
- Identify key talent, devise retention plan and monitor attrition rate
- Asses current asset performance; build baseline; develop and manage tracking systems
- Follow through on implementation of agreed actions/initiatives in a PMO role

- Supporting M&A Evaluations and Executions on a Transaction Specific Basis

Implementing Internal Work Processes
- Implement Standardized work flows to the M&A integration and optimization process

- Preparing Instruction Manuals and guides

Requirements

- MBA Qualified from a European or US based Business School
- Fluency in English is essential
- Must posses high level experience in M&A Integration
- 8-10 years work experience combining Corporate Finance and M&A, Management Consulting and Finance
- Oil and Gas experience highly desirable
- Must be comfortable with the working hours associated with a Corporate Finance role
