Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Portfolio Management & Transactions
- Manage all aspects of the commercial and corporate real estate process (development of real estate strategy; defining and optimizing space requirements and workplace strategies; site selections; negotiations; tenant improvements; property management; dispositions) within the ME&A region
- Execute regional real estate plans by partnering with internal (Supply Chain, IT, HR, Legal, HSER) and external real estate providers (transaction, design and project management) lawyers etc to enable the strategic business groups to meet their objectives whilst consistently delivering excellent customer service in a diverse and challenging environment
- Managing the integrity of data across the CEE region to enable the proactive portfolio management, deliver on key GRE portfolio metrics and optimize Honeywells use of its property assets across the EMEA region, with a strong emphasis on enabling growth whilst also driving productivity

Capital Projects
- Manage multiple capital projects in the ME&A region to effectively maintain a program of activity that will support the execution of the agreed real estate strategies. This will involve working from the initial feasibility stage right through to the final delivery of the completed solution. The output will be completed fit out and construction projects in compliance with corporate policy and delivering to customer expectations by taking each project through to final acceptance and close out
- Lead cross- functional teams through the design and execution phases of a project, comprising a combination of external service providers, internal Honeywell support services and business representatives. Provide clear direction to the team and institute the right governance structure ensure that the project is delivered within the agreed program, budget and to the correct quality, holding all parties accountable for their deliverables and escalating key issues for resolution when necessary
- Participate in the Project Management Council (global construction group) to drive continual innovation in developing best practice for project planning and execution. Advise on ME&A market practice to ensure that regional variations are considered to ensure a robust toolset for global deployment

Regional Strategic Planning
- Act as the lead GRE representative in the ME&A region, working with the regional leaders to understand their business objectives. In conjunction with the Strategic Business Group Global Strategic Planners and the Real Estate Director, establish and continue to refine real estate strategies to support those business plans
- Maintain strong working relationships with senior management in the business across the region, striving to provide excellent customer service in all the aspects of service delivery from the Global Real Estate team and acting as an agent for change as Honeywells culture develops

Requirements

- Degree level in a real estate or related discipline (surveying, engineering, architecture)
- Significant project management related experience
- Significant real estate experience within a corporate real estate function (either within a corporate or as an external service provider) preferably with management of international program of multiple capital projects
- Experience of working in real estate across the ME&A
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to influence negotiate and collaborate effectively with associates at all levels in a positive and professional manner. Energetic and persuasive
- Strong inter- personal, organizational skills and customer relationship management skills
- Experienced in financial analysis and modeling
- Structured in approach and process orientated.
- Self-starter with ability to take initiative and manage with limited direct supervision
- Ability to travel 25- 50% annually
