Manager Of Compliance and Financial Reporting

Job description / Role

Our client a hotel based in Dubai is looking to expand their finance team.

As a result of continuous growth and development, we have an opportunity for a Manager, Compliance and Financial Reporting to join our team of Finance professionals.

Supporting the Director of Finance, the successful applicant will lead in the annual budget process and monthly forecast process whilst performing varied and complex analysis in order to contribute effectively to financial findings in order to benefit the business.
- Ensure the complete accuracy of all Financial information before presenting findings to senior management
- Ensure the internal control systems are implemented and maintained effectively for operational efficiency
- Plans and coordinates the process of completing the annual operating and monthly operating forecasts
- Analysis and evaluation of budget submissions as well as cost/benefit, breakeven and ROI
- Continuous review, assessment and improvement of the company’s financial budgets/forecasts
- Evaluates all components of the decision making process including: costs, benefits, risks and opportunities for success

Requirements

- Bachelors or Master’s degree required within the field of Finance or related field
- Hospitality experience
- 5+ years of experience within a Financial capacity
- Minimum 3 years Management experience
- Ability to work effectively with a number of software applications
