Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client are a major government organization in Dubai. Due to an ongoing expansion, they are looking to hire a Manager - Recruitment to provide the necessary vision and strategic direction to achieve company goals and objectives throughout the planned rapid growth.

Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources Development, the Recruitment Manager will hold a number of key accountabilities including:

- Developing and implementing a strategy for recruiting and retaining the high quality talent for the organization within the budget allocated to achieve overall goals
- Conducting regular follow up with managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation
- Aiding public relations in establishing a recognizable employer of choice reputation for the company, both internally and externally
- Planning, directing, supervising and coordinating work activities of the recruitment team relating to employment, selection, employee relations and using metrics to evaluate and improve recruitment effectiveness
- Developing creative recruitment solutions to attract appropriate levels of quality staff
- Reviewing applications, shortlisting applications, implementing selection processes, conducting interviews and, where necessary, involving psychometric tests and development centres
- Attending career fairs for recruiting a company recognition
- Assisting in the implementation of redundancy programs which may include transferring employees to other open positions within the company

All jobs assigned to the Manager - Recruitment will be closely overseen by the Director. The Manager - Recruitment will have the full rights to make decisions by his/her own initiative within the scope of his/her work without instructions and endorsements given by the Director. They will have 3 direct reports.

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a relevant degree from a recognized university
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in a related field

The Manager - Recruitment will be:
- A UAE national
- Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving and streamlining complex work processes
- A computer literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering a wide variety of applications
- A flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects
- A goal-driven leader who maintains a productive climate and confidently motivates, mobilizes and coaches employees to meet high performance standards
- A results driven achiever with exemplary planning and organization skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation
