Employment: Full Time

The Technical Operations department within the Toyota After Sales division of Al Futtaim Motors is looking for a Manager of Technical Operations to manage the Warranty, Technical Product Quality and Repair Support Operations. As a manager of a team of 30 staff, you will lead, guide and support your team with warranty and technical related concerns in order to ensure that customers (both internal and external) are provided with quality and efficient service.

Reporting directly to the General Manager of After Sales, this role will have a specific focus on support to the Service Retail organisation and to the principal quality initiatives.

Key Accountabilities:
- As a highly organised individual with excellent communication skills, you will liaise with the various counterparts within the organisation such as Service Retail, Sales, Parts, IT and Finance, in order to obtain the required information and support to run your department effectively.
- You will create cost effective and time efficient strategies in order to ensure that the sales, financial targets as well as warranty budgets are met, whilst adhering to policies and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- You will monitor and strive to improve warranty and technical operations at the distributor.
- You will be responsible for creating regular performance reports, audit activities of the section as well as conduct analysis & effective countermeasures to achieve your targets.
- You will provide rapid & efficient support, solutions and guidance to warranty, and field technical staff whenever requested.
- You will visit branches as and when required, including unscheduled visits from an audit perspective for warranty related parts storage or claimed parts labour time of any performed or ongoing job.

Requirements

You will ideally be a holder of a recognised Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Automotive Engineering and you will have previous experience within a Toyota distributor. Having a minimum of 10 years experience in warranty, technical repair, support and after sales, you should also have between 3 - 5 Years experience as a Warranty Manager or a Technical Manager.

You will be competent in the use of Microsoft Office Programmes and have experience in using a Dealer Management System. SAP production experience will also be advantagous.

Excellent oral communication and presentation skills are a must as you will managing a large team, conducting both on the job and theoretical training whilst at the same time handling customers on a regular basis.
