Manager, Trade Finance

Job description / Role

Client is a leading bank in the region is looking for a Manager, Trade Finance to be based out of Dubai.

- To manage all centralised trade finance operational activities, as per the bank policies and procedures. Within the role you will be expected to;
- Manage and execute all projects related to trade finance operations and ensure timely completion of such projects and that they achieve desired outcomes - such as cost efficiency of the operations unit.
- Ensure transaction processing is compliant as per regulatory requirements of the UAE and internal bank policies.
- Check and approve transactions, that they are compliant and within approved limits.
- Report all transactions to the Head of Operations and Credit Administration. department on any transactions not within approved limits or that have issues.
- Lead a team to deliver an efficient trade finance operations business within the UAE.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
- Background in trade finance operations.
- Minimum of 6 years relevant experience within the GCC.
- Background in trade finance.
- Strong leader and ability to think for oneself, adaptable team player.
