Employment: Full Time

Our client, an International Trade and Development Organisation is looking for a Market Analyst to support a team of Business Development Managers.

The purpose of the role is to achieve more impact and insight for customers by providing specialist market research and analysis and to assist customers establish and grow their business internationally.

Responsibilities:
- Actively contribute to a wide variety of customer research-related services being undertaken by colleagues throughout the Region from initial analysis and planning phases to design and analysis of recommendations.
- Be a champion for developing a research community across the company and collaborating across teams and borders.
- Liaise and engage with customers as needed during research projects to inform approach, analysis and final recommendations.
- Analyse and interpret trends, patterns and correlations within data to build sound commercial understanding and generate thought-provoking customer insights.
- Produce thorough and well organised reports, presentations and graphics to summarise and explain research findings and their implications.
- Play an integral role in supporting the Regional Team achieve high quality research reports, manage data quality, leverage analytical models and professionally present information to increase value for customers.

Requirements

- Proven ability to conduct and produce research, analysis and reports to a high standard
- Commercially aware, ideally with experience in a business research environment.
- 4 - 5 years experience in a similar role
- Arabic speaking (French / Farsi also beneficial)
- Strong analytical, research , data mining, data modelling and critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of business and cultural protocols and practices for the region
- Skilled in generating graphics and graphs
- Proficient MS Office applications
- High-level attention to detail, presentation layout and accuracy
- Global business knowledge
- Quick decision maker
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
