Mechanical Maintenance Technician

We are looking for fa Mechanical Maintenance Technician specialised in a speciality (all welcomed).

Each technician is responsible to impact his specialised expertise to solve, repair and rectify a particular problem according to assignments as issues by the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer and Senior technician

Job Functions:

1. Receives instructions for job assignments from the MS/ST, informs the extent of the job, conditions/tools/spares and other services required. On completion of the job informs the ST and returns the equipment back to service in conjunction with Operations Department.

2. According to work priorities, assists other maintenance personnel in work that does not require his specialised knowledge.

3. Is responsible to carryout the job assigned to him as per companies safety and environmental guide lines and standards. Ensuring to keep all work areas clean/tidy and safe.

4. When assigned a “Technical Assistant” for assistance, the Technician is responsible for all work carried out by that person.

5. Assists with investigation into equipment breakdown, contributes corrective actions.

6. Is involved in modification/expansion programs, assists as required.

7. Carries out other reasonable duties as requested.

Requirements

- Qualified professional in one of the maintenance trades
- Fluent in written/spoken English
- Normally minimum 10 years maintenance experience within a petroleum industry, with 3 years experience at supervisory Level
