Job description / Role
To perform various routine and special tasks in cash and bank activities, perform cash management services in accordance with approved corporate strategies, treasury policies and procedures
Funds Transfer & Management:
- Manages the processing of all transfers of funds to suppliers, settlement of treasury deals, employee payments and transfers with group entities bank accounts on a timely basis in compliance with the company policies and delegation of authority
- Provides inputs to improve the payment processes and payment systems and to operate in line with company’s policies and procedures
- Tracks all treasury incoming funds and ensure they are effectively received on time from the counterparties
- Identifies FX requirements in foreign currencies and reports any shortages of funds for the corresponding corrective action to be taken
- Assists in preparation of short term cash forecast , maintains and updates daily cash flows in different currencies and accounts
- Administers the Commercial Card Program and manages issuance, replacement and cancellation of Purchase Cards, Corporate Credit Cards and E-Dirham cards for the company
Day-to-day Operations:
- Manages day to day payment and bank queries and contact the required departments and banks to sort out the same
Communication:
- Coordinates and communicate with various departments internally within treasury and other departments within the company to streamline various cash management and payment processes
Related Assignments:
- Performs any other task and ad hoc exercise the management may require time to time
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor in Finance/Accounting/Business or higher diploma from a recognised university
Minimum Experience:
- At least 2-4 years practical experience of working in the cash management function of a large, international organization
Skills:
- Knowledge of SAP ERP and Treasury Management system
- Knowledge of recording cash and banking transactions
- Interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel & MS Office
