Operations Manager

Job description / Role

Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Operations and fleet management team.

Operating a fleet of over 150 heavy cargo trucks, key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Manage the effective Fleet movement of the TCT Trucks in execution of the received orders from Business Development team and direct client requests.
- Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
- Direct investigations to verify and resolve customer complaints.
- Serve as contact persons for all operations and driver staff.
- Implement schedule and policy changes with an eye to constant performance and profit margin improvement.
- Planning and implementing the strategy for the companys operations department along with the board members,
- Collaborate with the maintenance workshop , sales and Finance teams to ensure interdepartmental cooperation and efficiency.
- Ensure optimal fleet utilization and profitability.
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly accurate and live Operations reports to Senior Management.

Requirements

The Successful candidate will have significant experience of managing a large fleet of vehicles with a proven track record of maximizing.

Fleet utilization and trip profitability.

Strong operational and commercial awareness is essential.
