The worlds leading private security company, the G4S UAE operation specializes in manned security solutions, outsourcing, Faculties management and Electronic Security Solutions we have a key requirement for a Dubai based Payroll Assistant key responsibilities will be to provide accurate and timely processing of company payroll by managing payroll preparation, completing reports and maintaining records.

Key Accountabilities:
- Maintain Payroll information and Process monthly payrolls in ERP.
- Data entry for time and attendance such as new hire, termination, benefits deduction
- Maintains payroll information in ERP module.
- Prepares reports by compiling summaries of salaries, deductions, leave and EOSB.
- Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies.
- Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
- Complies with local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
- Maintains Employee salary details confidentially at all circumstances.
- Accurately process payroll as well as monitor vacation/benefit accruals independently
- Assist HR department with compensation and benefits for payroll related tasks like processing benefits premiums, group health insurance, benefits, and overtime pay analysis
- Assist internal and external auditing procedures related to payroll by following company standards and policies
- Monitor and review complete payroll accounts for verification of accuracy and in case of any discrepancies make appropriate corrections and updates at the end of every month
- Communicate effectively with all staff responding to their requests and inquiries related to payroll information
- Post payroll information to General ledger accurately.
- Preparation of reconciliation of Payroll registers vs General ledger every month.
- Create and disburse payslips to the company employees every month after the pay day.
- Create benefit audits and reports for Terminated/Retired employees
- Execute special research projects regarding payroll management and for detailed analysis of payroll
- Suggest to the management for the policy and procedure updates and refreshers related to payroll management and its financial aspects
- Organize and maintain payroll checks and lists in coordination with HR and Operations teams.
- Manage contacts and communicate regularly with all the internal and external stakeholders ensuring effective flow of information
- Organize files, accounts, ledgers, records, employee books for payroll documents and other related purposes
- Process payroll changes for new hires and terminations ensuring accuracy and timeliness of the process
- Timely prepared, verified and reconciled monthly, quarterly and yearly ad hoc

Requirements

- Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting from a Recognized Institute.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Accounting (preferably in Payroll, but not mandatory) with experience in handling Reconciliations.

Competencies:
- Good communication skills - both verbal and written
- Attention to detail
- Thorough understanding of UAE Labour Law
- Good at MS office especially Excel
- Ability to handle large volume payroll.
- Ability to work under stress.
