30,000 AED 0 45,000 AED Monthly

Our client, based in Dubai, UAE have asked us to assist in the hire of a Portfolio Manager.

Job Role:
- Review financial performance of startups to enhance efficient operations.
- Analyze the performance of companies to determine what needs to be changed, developed and implement strategies that maximize performance.
- Review budgets, variance & delinquency reports, cash flow projections and accounting reports.
- Responsible for ensuring financial statements are produced and analyzed, addressing industry risks, monitoring collateral requirements, loan structuring and pricing, credit analysis, monitoring credit performance.
- Handle reporting on loans such as past dues, documentation and collateral exceptions, financial performance updates, portfolio profitability, risk grades, etc.
- Keep informed of financial and market trends in the portfolio and analyzes those trends for the effect they will have on the portfolio.
- Ensure legal and financial compliance; especially on the stakeholders and board level in regards to producing board and shareholder resolutions.
- Periodically report to management on the investments and results through producing quality reports, charts and analysis, verbally and/or in writing.
- Perform due diligence for new and existing investment strategies.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.

Requirements

This position is responsible for managing the portfolio and report to management regarding the operations and performance of companies under Silicon Oasis Founders (SOF) and Silicon Oasis Capital (SOC). It reports to Director of Incubation Centre and senior management. It is a new position.

A candidate knowledgeable in finance, legal, investments, shares, portfolio management and had experience in running board of directors.

Bachelors and Masters degree in Finance related field or Business Administration.
Professional Financial Certification is preferable i.e. CFA, CFP.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications An ideal candidate should be able to work independently under pressure, flexible and adaptable and initiator.
