Our client is a well-established regional MENA fit out firm who provide fit out, manufacturing and contracting services to the property construction industry across the Middle East region. They now seek to appoint a Project Manager for their Interior Fit Outs Division to lead the project management and installation of various fit out projects comprising high end projects including hospitality, airports, palaces, public projects and residential.

The responsibilities of this role comprise to:
- Management of all interior fit out works to program, budget and quality.
- Oversee the daily site works and issuing of site instructions.
- Development of procurement and time schedules for each fit out project.
- Manage teams to achieve project goals.
- Review, monitor and update the weekly submittal schedule report.
- Monitor site logistics arrangements, site security operations, delivery and storage of equipment and materials on site.
- Assist the HSE staff to enforce environmental, health and safety standards at all times.
- Proactively intervene to prevent delay and disruption; provide solutions for site coordination issues; monitor and record delays on deliverables from consultants and sub-contractors.
- Monitor the performance of progress on site with stakeholders and compliance as per approved method statements.
- Maintain log of all contractors’ major equipment on site.
- Participate in the prequalification and selection of contractors.

Requirements

- Degree qualification in Construction / Engineering / Architecture or comparable experience with a minimum of 7+ years’ experience in commercial construction and at least 5 years interior fit out experience for high end projects.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, networking, negotiating and relationship skills.
- Must be detail and results oriented.
- Ideally will have experience working in an expatriate environment, particularly in the UAE.
