Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Our client, a very large MNC in the IT industry are seeking candidates for the position of Project/Program Manager to run and deliver their Annual World Forum.

This is a contract staffing position under Manpower for 12+ months

The individual is responsible for day to day planning, coordination and execution of the company’s innovation efforts at the Innovation Center.

Functional Requirements & Skills:
- Defines and documents business process and procedures
- Influences, coordinates and negotiates among several cross-functional teams
- Drives coordination, project management, tracking and collaboration between cross-functional team members in multiple functions (Engineering, Finance, Accounting, HR, Marketing, PR,
- Develops and manages innovation strategy and roadmap for the Innovation Center
- Manages and supervises Innovation Center programs (opportunity definition, business plan, scope, requirements, project management, and execution) related to different types of external stakeholders (startups, incubators, universities, partners, etc.). Arranges and maintains multiple projects along with priorities
- Actively connects with internal partners across the company and involves legal, marketing, PR and other teams in program execution. Influences, coordinates and negotiates among several cross-functional teams
- Develops external ecosystem around the Innovation Center (scouting for potential partners, building partner relations, managing joint projects and initiatives with startups, universities, etc)
- Drives ongoing internal and external awareness of innovation programs
- Supports day to day document flow and activities
- Tracks and supports reporting activities for the center operations

Requirements

The ideal candidate should be able to turn a concept into an executable project with multiple program workstreams.

- Able to deal with ambiguity, limited information, and manage multiple projects and achieve successful results.
- Requires combination of strong collaboration and influence skills, and comfort in working across all functional groups and organizational levels.
- Good business judgment, market research, financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Familiar with business models and value chains.
- A self-motivated, entrepreneurial, results-oriented professional with proven execution abilities in a collaborative setting.
- Strong bias towards action; able to move quickly, decisively and bring other team members along with them.
- Effectively manages multiple complex projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Understanding of Innovation Landscape, Startups, Accelerators and current marketplace trends
- Experience in IoT/IoE and Innovation management is a strong plus.
- Past experience with innovation program and innovation ecosystem development is essential
- Ability to drive projects and juggle 100s of details
