Job description / Role
- Review and provide estimates for new projects and quantity development.
- Conduct site inspection for tender understanding, analysis of conditions, and assessment of risk and identification of activities.
- Prepare tender documents including BOQs and review and prepare BOQs from drawings.
- Obtain quantities from drawings.
- Check the BOQ against the drawings and raise any RFI with clients.
- Prepare and analyse costing for tenders, assessing scope, risk involved, tender complexity and provide feedback to the Managers.
- Review and assess tenders ensuring all tender documents are received and are correct.
- Assure competitiveness and compliance of tenders.
- Attend Weekly Projects meeting if required.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Either Mechanical or Electrical) with Quantity Surveying background or
- B.Sc. Quantity Surveying or equivalent professional qualification.
- 4- 10 years of overall experience (UAE)in the same discipline.
- Should possess high degree of analytical skills, correspondence skills and communications skills, Strong Computer literacy is also required.
