Job description / Role
• Operate the switchboard and receive visitors so that all callers/visitors are dealt promptly, courteously, and accurately.
• Receive and correctly route incoming and outgoing telephone calls at a switchboard. Take and distribute accurate messages.
• Greet visitors and determine the nature of their visit; issue visitor passes and maintain visitor logs; alert appropriate party of visitor arrival or direct visitors to appropriate office, department or employee.
• Respond to routine inquiries from internal or external sources, for example on the organisation's location, hours of operation, phone numbers, or email address.
• Organising and distributing mail, receiving and sending courier packages.
• Provide Administrative support to HR & Administration Dept.
Requirements
• Must have at least 2 years of experience handling receptionist / front office duties.
• Must be fluent in communicating in English (both Verbal and Written)
• Should have good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Should maintain a neat and tidy reception area.
